New physiotherapy centre inaugurated in Mokokchung

Coinciding with “World Physiotherapy Day”, a new physiotherapy centre, “Physio Ki” was inaugurated at Arkong ward, here, on Wednesday.

During an interaction, physiotherapist (PT), Dr. Olemjungla said that she received her Bachelor of Physiotherapy from West Bengal and worked at Fortis Memorial Research Institute Gurgaon.

She later worked at Qatar for two years before returning and due to the pandemic, she informed that she could not leave and therefore, decided to open the clinic.

On being asked about the services, she shared that the clinic would be affordable and provide quality health care services.

Adding that her treatment would mostly be rehabilitation services, she said that it would also include treatment of age-related issues.

The basic regime of the treatment would be movements and exercises and making most of patient’s mobility, ability and wellbeing.

She further informed that senior citizens (above 60 years) would be given free consultation besides discounted treatment packages for those long-term patients.  

Earlier, dedicatory prayer was said by MTBA associate pastor Sentimeren.
