Ghotovi Village Council (GVC) has urged concerned department to immediately clear the landslide which has blocked the road between Ghotovi village, Logweshinyu village and Yankeli village junction since September 4.
In a press release, GVC said the road is the lifeline to more than 40 villages under Dimapur, Kohima and Wokha districts and that the road also serves as alternative route to connect Kohima and Dimapur district.
Further, the council has advised commuters to take alternative road till the landslide was cleared.
