All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) Wokha Unit reaffirmed its decision to continue its pen down and computer shutdown strike till December 8, 2017, and then begin the second phase of the agitation with a mass casual leave, by all members, from December 11 to 13, if state government continued to ignore its charter of demands.
A press note signed jointly by its president, M. Rubenthung Ngullie and information & publicity secretary, Lichumo Z. Patton, stated that, volunteers of the association paid surprise visits to all departments within Wokha district, and were very encouraged to find that the strike was being enforced very well.
It said that during the strike, most of the departments came to a standstill due to the non-cooperation of the ministerial staff.
All ministerial related work were strictly banned and the “pen down and computer shut down” stir was enforced in all the departments except the departments that are not under the umbrella of ANDMSA, the press note added.
ANDMSA Wokha unit appealed to the general public to bear with the inconveniences arising out of the strike and understand the plight of the district ministerial employees.
Kohima: All Nagaland District Ministerial Service Association (ANDMSA) Kohima unit has reaffirmed its stand on its parent body’s directives and resolved to continue the agitation until further directions from the parent body.
The unit has also requested the public, staff employees, DDOs and department to bear with the inconveniences.
