District Horticulture Officer (DHO) Kiphire organized a skill development training programme for the school dropouts under PMKSY programme on Sunday.
Altogether, 20 participants from 11 villages attended the training.
Speaking on the occasion as special guest, social activist, Issac Tsalembi Sangtam stressed on the importance of skill development for self employment and sustenance.
The main resource persons during the programme were DHO, Senti Longchar and HEA, Sero Sangtam. The programme was chaired by Horticulture inspector, Rishu Philip.
The next skill development programme targeted on unemployed housewives will be held on Monday and farm women on Tuesday at Sanphure village.
