Assam governor, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi, who has been given additional charge as Nagaland governor, will take oath on September 17 afternoon.
According to a notification, Gauhati High Court, Kohima bench judge, justice S. Serto will administer the oath of office to Prof. Mukhi at Raj Bhavan, Kohima.
Prof. Mukhi was given additional charge of Nagaland, until regular arrangements are made, after incumbent Nagaland governor R.N. Ravi was transferred as governor of Tamil Nadu, in a series of gubernatorial changes on September 9.
