Noklak DTF on COVID-19 holds meeting

Noklak District Task Force on COVID-19 held a meeting on September 18 under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Noklak, Hiazu Meru at the Conference Hall of DC Noklak.

According to DIPR report, DC Noklak, Hiazu Meru said the only way to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 was vaccination and urged the people to come forward and get vaccinated.

The DC said that the district does not have proper medical facilities for which efforts should be made to vaccinate more people so that worst situations could be averted.

Referring to the ensuing festive season, Meru requested the citizens to maintain COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.

The DC also briefed the gathering on the latest SOPs and procedures issued by the government and also appreciated the frontline workers and the officers of the district for their efforts in controlling the spread of COVID-19.

The house deliberated on the COVID-19 care centre, COVID19 check gate, taxi service, COVID-19 hospital and opening of schools as per the government guidelines.
