Following allegations on Dimapur Goods Transport Association vice president Mughavi Zhimomi by Niki-led NSCN (K), Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CNCCI) and Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI) at a joint emergency meeting resolved that DGTA would cease to function both officially and unofficially till the matter was thoroughly investigated by the two apex bodies.
CNCCI chairman Dr. Khekugha Muru and DCCI president Akashe Zhimomi have, however, directed individual transporters to continue services to ensure supply of essential items.
Meanwhile, all transporters, within or outside the association have been asked to attend the meeting scheduled to take place at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur on September 25, at 2 p.m. and warned of action against those who fail to attend the meeting.
