Primary Health Centre (PHC), Chen has received five oxygenated beds and essential medical equipment on September 20.
A DIPR report stated that the medical equipment and consumables for augmenting the health infrastructure at PHC Chen were donated by Ashraya Hastha Trust, Bengaluru under the initiative of district administration Mon through Mantra &Suriya Foundation, Bengaluru.
The equipment was dedicated by pastor Chen Town Baptist Church, Wangket in the presence of DC Mon, Thavaseelan K, SDO (C), Chen, Relise Sangtam, representative from Suriya Foundation, Mantra &Ashraya Hastha Trust, officials and staff of Primary Health Centre Chen and civil society organizations.
The equipment consists of five each of semi- fowler beds, oxygen concentrators, flowmeters, stabilozers and pulse oximeters along with hand gloves, N95 masks, face Shields, etc.
DC Mon in his speech expressed gratitude and appreciation to Ashraya Hastha Trust, Mantra &Suriya Foundation, Bengaluru for their kind gesture and requested to continue their support beyond the Covid-19 pandemic.
Earlier, the programmed was chaired by MO, PHC Chen, Dr. Shokwang Konyak and vote of thanks was delivered by SDO (C), Chen.
