A newly constructed market shed supported by NABARD was inaugurated by NABARD general manager/ officer incharge Tiakala Ao, on September 18, at Yanpha village under Ralan block, Wokha.
The Market Shed was implemented by the Yanpha Village Council under NABARD’s Rural Haat Scheme.
SDO (Civil), Ralan block, Meyazungba Jamir, chairman of the village council, Limhathung Humtsoe, other members of the village council and local villagers/beneficiaries of nearby villages were present on the occasion.
GM, NABARD in her inaugural address congratulated the Village Council and local villagers for successfully constructing the Market Shed as per NABARD’s specifications.
SDO (Civil), Ralan Block Meyazungba Jamir, thanked NABARD for the initiative which will benefit the local people and will directly service 30 nearby villages. The chairman, Village Council of the area expressed gratitude on the initiative of NABARD.
