
Tening Sub-Divisional Task Force (SDTF) on Covid-19 held a review meeting at Tening Town Hall on September 24 under the Chairmanship of ADC Tening, Rosietho Nguori, who is also the chairman of SDTF.
The meeting was held to discuss various ongoing activities being carried out in the sub-division, DIPR report stated.
Medical department Tening led by MO.AYUSH, Dr. Nuksung Jamir gave a brief report on the current vaccination status and Covid random testing which was conducted at various villages and commuters checkpoints.
He said a total of 58th Covid positive cases have been detected in the sub-division and all were contained.
ADC Tening also suggested the members present in the meeting to scale up vaccination drive similar to 100% vaccination in Mbaulwa village and requested the members to utilize all platforms to continue the Covid sensitisation and make available of all data from village wise to Sub-Divisional Task Force members.
OC Tening PS, Singson raised his concerned on shortage of manpower and personnel to supplement the efforts of Sub-Divisional Task Force in enforcing the SOPs.
The house also discussed on the reopening of schools and enforcement of relevant SOPs from October 1 as per the directives of DoSE.
Further, Sub-Divisional Task Force has decided to have to tour village which have low vaccination areas in October.
