NSCN (R) reassures healthy, clear atmosphere

NSCN (Reformation) under president Y. Wangtin Naga and ato kilonser P. Tikhak have reassured a “healthy and clear atmosphere” within the government and among the Nagas.

In a statement issued through its MIP, the group said it wished to “bring few facts as things subsides, finding its own proper places, not to counter but to clear the air for good.”

NSCN (R) said they were ashamed by the recent unwarranted environment that was created within the group. It said “a destructive mind of a person motivated purely in self interest, like a blind man walking and all his actions can never ferry well or undermine the sanctity and demean the national principle.”

Asserting that it was “obnoxious and in direct contravention of the Yezhabo”, NSCN (R) pointed out that every move of the government was “a mandate, a committed action and necessitated by people’s support and appeals” and followed under well established norms and ethics of the constitutional validity.

Discouraging all such activities in the future, NSCN (R) thanked Almighty God and also lauded the “just and fair leaders from the NNPGs family and Nagas as a whole for the prayers”, who have been the source of strength for peace and stability in the society.

MIP further said that leaders from 12 regions have affirmed to stand by the leadership despite the trials and turbulent situation faced by the group.

MIP said that regions include– Lotha region under the chairmanship of Pichoo, Sangtam region under Tsatose, Chang region Saolimba, Pochury region under Zupen, Zeliangrong region Gaiphurai Kamai, Sumi region Huto Chishi, Zeliang region R. Zeliang, Phom region Phanglang Phom, Ao region Toshi Imchen, Mon region Lamlang, and also leaders from Arunachal and Manipur.

MIP prayed for blessings upon the leaders for standing united together under the dynamic leadership of president Y. Wangtin Naga and ato kilonser P. Tikhak.

“Together we stand our ground as we commit ourself in this journey until we reach out destiny,” MIP stated.

Effects minor reshuffle
NSCN (R) has informed that “a minor reshuffle” has been brought into effect in the council of kilonsers and at least two posts, which were lying vacant “after some of the workers choose to leave the National service”, were filled.
NSCN (R) through its MIP secretary said that the office of its ato kilonser has inducted Ihese Aye as kilonser kilo affairs (home), Lhoughoto Chishi as supervisor U/T-I and Mughato Chophi as kilonser for forest and natural resources (FNR) with effect from November 23.
