Bible Society of India branch inaugurated at Tuli

The Bible Society of India (BSI) branch was inaugurated at Tzüdikong Baptist Church, Tuli under Mokokchung district on September 28. 

In a press release, BSI, Dimapur auxiliary informed that during the programme, BSI Mokokchung president Dr. Bendang Longkumer shared the importance of participating in the ministry of Bible Society of India in reaching the word of God to believers, especially to those who had not received the Holy Bible in their languages.

Auxiliary secretary Rev. Dr. Yiepetso Wezah presented a paper on the significance of the ministry of BSI.

Rev. Dr. Yiepetso informed that the main objective of the society was to make the Bible available at affordable price to people in a language that they could understand.

“The Bible could go where we cannot go”, he stated.

Meanwhile, resource mobilizer Marwati spoke on the role of BSI Branch and the Churches.

BSI Mokokchung branch secretary Temsu also encouraged church leaders to take active role as it was one of the most important ministries of the Church. 

More than 90 Church leaders representing 15 churches attended the inaugural function-cum-seminar.
