DIPR Nagaland mobile app launched

Advisor to chief minister, Abu Metha launched the Department of Information & Public Relations (DIPR) Nagaland mobile app at Media Facilitation Centre, Naga Heritage Village, Kisama on Wednesday.

According to a DIPR report, tagging the launching of the mobile app as “the way forward”, Abu Metha said that DIPR was one of the first departments in the government of Nagaland to have a mobile app on Android and iOS platforms.

Congratulating the department for looking ahead, being progressive and using technology to the maximum, he said that the mobile app was much needed in today’s fast-moving world of information and technology.

He suggested to incorporate more ways to continue developing and updating the app and to find sustainable ways and plans to manage the same.

He said that the state government and the people of the state would benefit from the features of the app and that the information about the state government, various programmes, schemes and polices would reach far corners of the globe.

Business development manager, Excellogics Tech Solutions Zhalhouvi-e Nagi delivered a brief overview of the app.

The programme was chaired by director, IPR, Z. Tokishe Sema and was attended by DIPR officials and a host of media persons.

The mobile app was developed by Excellogics Tech Solutions and could be downloaded from Google Play store and iOS App Store.
