Owing to developmental activities carried out along RoW of ongoing 4-lane project (Kohima) by private individuals on the pretext that 4-lane constructions were over, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie has strictly prohibited such activities.
In an order, DC informed the public and those undertaking developmental activities within the RoW of the 4-lane road project that any developmental activities or any type of illegal constructions of any structures/ makeshifts etc, within the RoW of the project was “strictly prohibited”.
DC has therefore, informed the public not to undertake such activities, failing which demolition or eviction would be done without prior information.
