Farewell programme for retiring govt employees

Kohima Forest Division and department of social welfare Kiphire organised separate farewell programmes for respective retiring government employees.

KFD: Kohima Forest Division organised a farewell programme for retiring staff and held a session on financial education programme on October 1 at the Conference Hall, Forest Office Complex, Kohima.

A press release by the department stated that during the farewell programme eight staff under Kohima Range and Chiephobozou Range were felicitated for their service. 

Addressing the outgoing staff, DFO Kohima Rajkumar M congratulated the staff for completion of their service and reminded that retirement was the beginning of the “second innings of their life”.

Range officer, Kohima Range Pezaneinuo Chielie exhorted the efforts and contribution of the outgoing staff and wished them the best as they start a new chapter in their lives.

A brief session on financial education programme was also organised targeting both the retired staff and those in service with Chenio Lotha from National Centre for Financial Education as the resource person.

Kiphire: Farewell programme for retiring Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Kiphire ICDS project Z. Tsangkhuchu Sangtam and typist Kiphire ICDS project TsalilaSangtam was held at Hopongkyu Memorial hall Kiphire.

In his message, director of social welfare, Michael Zaren described Z. Tsangkhuchu Sangtam as an upright and disciplined person who was ready to stand up to any occasion.

Short speeches were also delivered by the retiring employees.
