FAC launches two books

Two books titled “A Study Guide on Issues in World Politics” and “A Study Guide on Local Self Government” were launched by Nagaland University, controller of examinations Dr. Maongsangba, on November 30, at the Fazl Ali College (FAC) conference hall. 

In a press release from FAC information and publicity cell Dr. L. Imlinichet Imchen stated that the Dr. Maongsangba congratulated and praised the author for the books and asserted that these will further facilitate in ushering in quality education. 

The author of the two books, is the FAC assistant professor in the department of political science, Dr. E. Benrithung Patton. According to the author, he felt the need for a proper guide book particularly for the undergraduate students of political science and came up with these guide books with the hope that they will benefit the students. In addition, with the Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) to be implemented soon in Nagaland University, the author was hopeful that these books will be useful for both teachers as well as students.

In the brief book launch programme, FAC department of political science assistant professor Dr. Phyobenthung, gave a review of the two books and complimented that it was a comprehensive collection of study materials. The contents were student friendly and very orderly arranged according to the university syllabus, he asserted. 

FAC, IQAC coordinator Dr. Lanurenla, who chaired the programme also applauded the efforts of the author and proclaimed that the institution was fortunate to have an asset like Dr. E Benrithung Patton. 

The programme culminated with a dedicatory prayer from pastor William Patric.
