Deputy commissioner (DC) Mon, Thavaseelan K inaugurated a 400 litre per minute (LPM) oxygen generation plant (400 LPM) at district hospital Mon on October 7.
According to a DIPR report, DC in his speech acknowledged the ACT grants team for their gesture and requested for their continued support beyond COVID-19 pandemic.
It may be mentioned that the oxygen generation plant for augmenting the oxygen supply in the district was donated by ACT grants as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) under the initiative of district administration Mon.
The total oxygen capacity is 900 LPM at district hospital Mon, including the 500 LPM from PM cares.
The programme was attended by superintendent of police, chief medical officer, medical superintendent (I/C), medical officers from across Mon & staff from district hospital.
