Nagaland Governor Prof Jagdish Mukhi has summoned the 10th Session of 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) on December 20 at 9:30 am. This was stated in a press release by NLA commissioner & secretary Dr PJ Antony.
The notification comes a day after the Core Committee of the Parliamentary Committee on Naga Political issue, headed by chief minister Neiphiu Rio decided to call for a one-day special session to discuss about the repeal of the controversial Armed Forces (Special Power) Act 1958 including the Naga Political issue.
The state cabinet had also decided to write to the Central government to press for the repeal AFSP Act, 1958 from Nagaland.
