Rani Gaidinliu Memorial Park foundation stone was laid at Poilwa, Peren on December 12 by postmaster general (PMG), North East-II, Dimapur, Som Kamei.
A press release from Tourism Development Committee (TDC) Poilwa informed that during the programme, note on “Gaidinliu in Poilwa and the arrest” was delivered by I Daniel Zeliang (Rtd).
Speeches were also delivered by Zeliangrong Baudi, Assam, Manipur & Nagaland president K. Akhang, Zeliangrong Baudi Nagaland president C. R. Zeliang, renowned scholar & writer from Peren, Dr Tasiliu Nbung and Som Kamei.
The programme was chaired by TDC Poilwa chairman Kenlum Hemang, invocation was said by Baptist Church, Poilwa deacon, Talang and vote of thanks was proposed by Poilwa village council chairman, Rangsam N Hau. The programme was organised by TDC Poilwa.
