
Deputy chief minister, Y Patton met the village council chairmen, pastors and catechists from 22 villages of 37 Tyui assembly constituency on Friday at his private residence in Wokha. In a press release, Dy CM media cell informed that during a brief interaction with village leaders, Patton urged upon them to play an active role in maintaining peaceful atmosphere in the village as they had a huge responsibility to look after the village administration.
While reiterating his commitments to bring about more developmental works in the constituency, he expressed his gratitude for reposing their faith in his leadership. The deputy CM also presented items to the village leaders as Christmas gifts.
