ENPO cautions armed groups

Taking serious note of the firing incident at Waphur village under Shamator sub-division on December 17, Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) has warned all armed cadres of any faction or group to desist from creating havoc in ENPO jurisdiction in the near future.

In a press note issued through its media cell, ENPO president R. Tsapikiu Sangtam said that the incident created fear psychosis in the minds of the general public, threatening the peace and tranquillity in Naga society in general and ENPO area in particular.

Reiterating the earlier resolution of ENPO, Tsapikiu warned that such kind of action would only attract non-cooperation against any group or faction involved.
