TSPs given 45 days grace period

Telecom service providers (TSPs) who were earlier directed to remove/ rectify overhead cables placed haphazardly along the NH- 29 have been given 45 days grace period to rectify the same.

In a circular, EAC Chumukedima Er. Seyiekhrietuo Solo said the extension was given in order to accommodate several applications of assurance received from the concerned TSPs to complete the work within the allotted time frame. 

Further, TSPs have been directed to ensure that the rectification work was done as per prescribed norms.
