NDPP, NNC (PB) convey Christmas greetings

The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) has extended warm Christmas greetings to all. In a message, NDPP media & communication committee said that while the entire state was still coming to terms with the unimaginable tragedy at Oting, it also urged upon all to take this time to reflect upon the message of love, joy and peace and come together as people united in Christ.

“May we take this blessed time to re-strengthen our faith in God Almighty, our belief in humanity and our unity as a people”, NDPP said.

Welcoming the resolutions unanimously passed by the 13th house of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on December 20, the party has wished everyone a blessed Christmas with hope and prayers for a promising New Year.

NNC (PB): Naga National Council (parent body) has extended Christmas greetings to the Nagas, North East people and Christians. In a message, NNC (PB) acting president, Yilow Humtsoe on behalf of the group has appealed to all the Naga people in particular and Northeast people to “stand firmly and unitedly together at this crucial stage of struggle and hardship for our rights and justice.”

“At this crisis the Nagas and the Northeast people are being supported even at the international level, therefore, we must fight to the end for our legitimate rights”, it stated.
