VKS (NH) WCEA seeks release of salary

VK section (National highway) Work Charge Employee Association [VKS (NH) WCEA, HQ VK] town, Nagaland has appealed to the responsible department for immediate release of salary from March 1, 2020 till date.

In a letter addressed to the executive engineer PWD NH, Mokokchung division, VKS (NH) WCEA president Bokato Labo and general secretary Vito L Yeptho stated that the department had not released their work charge salaries till date despite repeated requests.

It said that the work charge employees were verified in person with all required documents on October 13, 2021, at town hall, Mokokchung after the government had set up a verification inquiry board. 

Requesting the responsible department to pay the due salaries before March 31, 2022, VKS (NH) WCEA warned that it would be compelled “to hold hunger strike” at NH-2, VK division from April 1.
