Extending warm greetings from the rank and file of NPCC to the Hindu community, NPCC president K. Therie hoped that just as the illumination of the occasion celebrated the eradication of dark shadows and evil, the people would introspect and illuminate their inner selves with the true spirit of Deepawali to drown out all darkness of sin and evil.
“During this joyous celebration of triumph of good over evil, may we restrain from promoting evil social elements and recommit to uphold the true spirit of democracy, justice and equality”, Therie said.
