Nagaland Muaythai Team to compete in national C’ship

Nagaland Muaythai team will take part in the 6th National Muaythai Championship in Rohtak, Haryana, from June 9 to 14, 2025.
The team led by State coach Hemavi and team manager Pangmie Konyak along with nine boxers have left for the championship on Saturday.
The event will also serve as the selection trial for the 3rd Asian Youth Games (AYG) under the Asian Olympics, which will be held in Bahrain from October 22 to 31, 2025.
Nagaland team members are: Aputo ( 45 kg), Maongtemjen Imsong (48 kg), T. Chingjei Konyak (51 kg), A. Hisato Aye (54 kg), Niuka Chophi (57 kg), Emtiramok Amri (63.5 kg), Vihuto Sema (67 kg), Phongmei Phom (75 kg) and Onendi (85 kg)
Meanwhile, the All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association (ANAMA) has thanked Mr. and Mrs. Opang Imchen of Potentia Institute, Dimapur, for sponsoring the official team uniforms.
