Ajei-Ai-Whatthat FPO, a Noklak based Farmer Producer Organisation became the first in the state to receive “Mobila Mart” supported by NABARD in Nagaland.
The Mobile Mart was flagged off jointly by GM/OIC, NABARD, Nagaland RO, Tiakala Ao and MD, Nagaland State Co-operative Bank Ltd, A. K. Deb.
Handing the key of the Mobile Mart to Dr. Chingmak Chang, Secretary, Eleutheros Christian Society, the promoter of Ajei-Ai-Whatthat FPO, Tiakala congratulated the FPO members on the progress and on the aspects of having a strong business plan by working meticulously to achieve it.
She further advised the FPO to avail finance from Nagaland State Co-operative Bank for their working capital requirements.
MD, NStCB assured of arranging the working Capital Loan to FPO and praised the initiative of NABARD in form of the mobile Mart.
Dr. Chingmak thanked NABARD for the support and gave a brief detail about the initiatives of the FPO in the district.
The project is expected to directly benefit the 380 shareholders of the FPO, who are engaged in aggregation and marketing of agricultural and horticultural produce in Noklak district.
