Advisor Treasuries & Account and National Highway, Dr. Longriniken on Thursday inaugurated the Jangpetkong Senso Mungdang (JSM) community Hall at Arkong Ward, Mokokchung.
Speaking at the inaugural programme, the advisor hoped that the building would be a house of blessing for the people for ushering unity. He challenged the Jangpetkong people to double their efforts in uniting people to accomplish more tasks.
On the occasion, the advisor also informed that the 11-km Mangkolemba-Longnak road is expected to receive a “positive signal soon”.
In this connection, Longriniken said he will be visiting Delhi shortly to meet the officials at the Centre for the construction of the road under Jangpetkong range.
The Advisor also lamented that employment has become a serious problem in the society as most of the youths solely aimed for government job.
In this connection, he urged the people, to differ from this mindset and focus on other fields such as business agriculture, entrepreneurship, etc. On Naga political issues, he reminded the people that it was every one responsibility to work towards unity as Nagas have yearned and strived for peace for many years.
