KBAYD and CGKCK hold joint conference

The first ever, Khanglai Khompi (combine conference) of Kuki Baptist Association Youth Department (KBAYD) Ahthibung Gamkai and Chalkot Gamkai Kuki Christian Khangthah (CGKCK) was held from January 28 to 30 at Phaijol village, Peren.
In a press release, chairman, Khanglai Khompi Committee, Jethro Hangsing stated that the youth department of both the churches- Kuki Baptist Association Nagaland (KBAN) and Chalkot Gamkai Kuki Christian Church jointly held the conference under the theme “Pathen Lhendoh Khangdong” Jer. 1:5.
In the opening ceremony, the flag hoisting and dedication was done by Sr. pastor KCC NS, Rev. K.Singsit while welcome address was delivered by GB Phaijol village, Paotinthang Lenthang and chairman Khanglai Khompi 2022 committee respectively.
Short speech was delivered by chairman CGKCC, Tonga Hangsing and chairman KBAN A/G, Sathjang.
The combined conference morning session witnessed praise and worship service where young theologians Lamhao Sitlhou, M.Th. Hoineichin Singson, B.D, Paotinlun Hangsing, M.Div. and Thangchungnung Singson, B.D from different unit delivered motivational speech based on the theme “The Chosen Generation”.
On the second day, L.Singsit, IPS (Retd) and president Kuki Inpi Nagaland (KIN) exhorted the gathering. Competition on choral competition, Lenkhom Laam, Bible quiz, and extempore speech etc were conducted.
Later, in the evening session exhortation and sermon was delivered by president, Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSON), Thangjamang and secretary, CGKCC pastor Lenkokam Hangsing respectively.
On the concluding day, speakers from both the churches, pastor, Nehkholal Simte, KCC Jalukie, Rev. David Vaiphei, youth secretary, KBAYD, Henjakai Chongloi, Khaibung and pastor, Seimang Haokip, secretary, MGKCC spoke on different topics. In the evening session, sermon was taken up pastor, KBAN, Rev. H.Minlien Singson.
