Power disruption in Mon district

SDO (transmission), Er. Shilu Lkr, has informed that the power supply to Mon district has been disrupted following the puncture of 8 Disc Insulators along the Tuli-Naginimora transmission line, which was struck by lightning in the early hours of November 28.
Shilu mentioned that restoration has been delayed as detection of punctured discs is time consuming, but assured that the department is working on a war-footing and that power supply should be restored by December 1, if the weather permits. All affected consumers have been asked to bear with the inconvenience.
