CUK celebrates Ngada festival

Choginjun Union Kohima (CUK) celebrated Ngada festival on November 28 at Tsiesema resort, Kohima with much pomp and gaiety.
Delivering the festival message as special guest, joint mission director, RMSA directorate of school education, Dr. Kevi Rio emphasised on the importance to carry forward the cultural values of our ancestors such as respect, honesty and sincerity.
The programme was chaired by Choginjun Union Kohima president, Chegeseng Kath, traditional blessing was pronounced by Yhunilo Kemp, invocation by chairman Choginjun fellowship Kohima, Gwachulo Kath, welcome address by CUK vice president, Dan Khing, significance of festival by Nyenlo Khing, folk song by Khwenbu Seb and party and vote of thanks by CUK, advisor Kenyuyhun Thong. 
Khwen shwi (yowling), Teba keshvu ketyu (pork fat eating), Kensugi (high kicking) were some of the highlights of the programme.
