Election Commission (EC) of Dimapur Sumi Students’ Union (DSSU) has announced the general election of DSSU office bearers and assembly organs for the tenure 2017-2019.
In a press release, EC DSSU has informed interested candidates from bonafide Sumi students under DSSU units and sub units who fulfil the criteria laid down in the DSSU constitution to obtain nomination paper from the EC of DSSU and submit on the following notified dates.
EC DSSU has informed the dates as following: issue of nomination paper, December 2, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; submission of nomination paper, December 3, 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.; scrutiny of nomination paper, December 4, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; withdrawal of nomination paper, 11:30 a.m. to1 p.m. followed by declaration of candidates and polling & result declaration.
It has further informed that the election process would be conducted at the residence of its union banker, Er. Ghokuto Assumi.
