Y. M Yollow, parliamentary secretary, Agriculture as chief guest inaugurated the Wanching Yongmouth village on November 17, wherein the new village was dedicated by Rev. S. Takyong.
Y.M.Yollow in his speech thanked the present government for recognising Wanching Yongmouh as one the new villages in the state. He urged concerned government departments to provide necessary facilities and projects to help the people of the new village to come up at par with other govt. recognised villages in the state.
He also urged the villagers to extend full co-operation to the govt so that development activities could take place smoothly.
Wanching Yongmouh village is an offshot village of the Wanching village under Wakching sub division, Mon district, with a population of 357 and 37 households.
