Food safety team, Dimapur zone organised a two-day online licensing and registration camp for Food Business Operators (FBO) under food safety, department of Health & Family Welfare (H&FW) at Jalukie on February 22 and in Peren on February 23.
In a press release, district media officer, CMO office, Peren, Shekho Sophie informed that the registration camp was carried out in coordination with district administration and the Traders’ Union of Peren and Jalukie.
The objective of the camp was to create awareness on food safety concept, responsibilities of food business operators, food hazards and how to go online for FSSAI registration and licensing.
Further, the release has informed FBOs who could not attend the camps to apply through www.foscos.fssai.gov.in at the earliest.
