Lotha Baptist Church Pastors in its 57th Lotha Baptist Ekhümkho Pastorden Sanrhyu (LBEPS) – Lotha Baptist Church Pastor Conference – on Sunday has resolved to extend full cooperation and support the “clean election campaign” initiated by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC).
The three-day conference held under the theme “Let the Church Arise” (Isaiah 60:1) and hosted by Lotha Baptist Church Kohima concluded on Sunday afternoon.
During the conference, LBEPS also declared 2018 as the “Year of Witness for Godly Christian Life” in spirit and in everyday activities.
After adopting a list of resolutions, Old Tssori Baptist Church, Pastor Rev. K. Benathung Humtsoe, dedicated the resolution at the Sunday devotional service. Delivering the word of God, the main speaker of the service, Lotha Baptist Church Diphupar, associate pastor, Yimtsü Yanthan, spoke on the book of John 14:15 and Deuteronomy 6: 5. He said problem begins when a person disobeys the commandment of God.
He said human’s pride overshadows God’s love and blessing and thus they part ways from God. Pastor Yanthan said prayer was the only answer to bring people closer to God and rebuild the relation.
He then called upon the congregation to live a true Christian life and thus be the light of the world.
Lotha Baptist Ekhumkho Sanrhyutsü (LBES), executive secretary, Rev. Nyanchumo Lotha, highlighted the activities of LBES and sought cooperation from all the churches towards the growth of the mission.
