Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya on Tuesday said that the people of Nagaland were excited and eagerly waiting for an early solution. He said this while speaking at the 48th Conference of Governors at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, PRO Raj Bhavan informed.
With the peace process moving in the right direction, Acharya said he was hopeful that a settlement would be reached at the earliest. He further thanked the President, Prime Minister and the Home minister for their efforts to find a permanent solution to the decades-old Naga issue.
He was also optimistic that once a permanent solution is arrived at, it would spur development and progress and also create opportunities for employment and help the youth of Nagaland.
