Governor greets Zeliang community

Nagaland governor, PB Acharya, has extended greetings to the Zeliang community on the occasion of Chaga Gadi and Langsimnyi festivals, which he said were celebrated to invoke God’s blessings and bring good harvest and health.  In his message, Acharya called upon the Zeliangs to take time and thank Almighty for His unwavering love and blessing. He also reminded the community to thank the farmers for their hard work.  Acharya expressed hope that the Zeliang community would continue to preserve and promote their age-old traditions and showcase the rich cultural heritage as they celebrate their premier festival. “May the festivals of Chaga Gadi and Langsimnyi bring peace, unity and prosperity to the Zeliangs in particular and Nagas in general,” said the governor.
