Power department has informed the pre-paid electricity consumers that the vending station (pre-paid recharge centre) located at Customer Care Centre (CCC) Burma Camp, and Prepaid Recharge Centre, Jain Temple Road, Marwari Patti will be operating from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from Monday-Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
In a press release, Dimapur electrical division executive engineer Y Akito Sema informed that the counter will remain closed on Sundays and all national holidays.
The department has also reminded prepaid consumers that, after the installation of the meters, it was mandatory to obtain no objection certificate (NOC) for the subsequent recharge. It stated that initial recharge worth Rs. 500 will be provided in order to allow the consumers to get ample time to obtain NOC and update it in the prepaid portal for subsequent recharge.
NOC will be issued to those consumers who have cleared all the outstanding arrears, if any, of the post-paid meters, it added.
