DIMAPUR: A skill development training under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) was organised by District Level Centre for Women- Mahila Shakti Kendra, Kohima under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in collaboration with the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD) Nagaland on April 14 at L. Khel, Kohima Village. A press release by the department stated that a training on basket weaving was organised to promote an alternative means of livelihood for the womenfolk. A brief overview of the training was given by senior lecturer, SIRD, Dr. Rokosuno Kintso while the vote of thanks was delivered by district coordinator, DLCW- MSK, Kohima, Vikeduozo Sorhie. The instructor for the day was Neizelieü Seyie. The training was attended by around 30 women.
