Gov, CM, DyCM extend greetings

Nagaland governor, Prof. Jagdish Mukhi has extended greetings to the Yimkhuing community on the occasion of Wangtsunuo– “Hut making festival”.
Mukhi said the festival is celebrated to invoke God’s blessings for a plentiful harvest and protection of the crops from natural disasters and also a time to bond with one another, he said adding that the celebrations exhibit the magnificent traditions and customs wherein the youth familiarise themselves with their roots.
CM: State chief minister Neiphiu Rio has extended Easter/Resurrection Sunday greetings to the people of the State. In his message, Rio said the ultimate act of love by Jesus Christ on Good Friday is followed by the miracle of Easter, His resurrection. “Easter brings renewal, new life and hope. May the Lord of life lead us into the light of His love,” he stated.
Dy.CM: Deputy CM Y. Patton extended greetings on the auspicious occasion of Easter, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. In his message, Patton said that Christ gave His life to save the world and to give salvation which in short is; The message of Love.
“We must all rejoice because He triumphed over death and rose on third day,” Patton said.
