Naga National Army Parent Body reacts on ‘termination order’

DIMAPUR: Reacting to the “termination” of Honito Shohe by the office of VP UNPG-NNC-PB, the “Naga National Army” (NNA) Parent Body (PB) said the termination was carried out “without the consent of collective leaders”.
In a joint statement, NNA PB “lt. Gen” AB Kiurünkiu and “C-in-C”, K. Kiuthsangkhiung said expulsion or termination cannot be done without the consent of its officers or NAA officials. Describing Honito Shohe as a “staunch leader”, NNA PB said he has nothing against NNA. It further clarified that Honito bearing “NA.SL No 157 NNA No. 01571990” was promoted to “maj gen” on March 24, 2019 and that it was not “self-proclaimed”.
Further, NNA PB has cautioned “concerned leaders” to refrain from “distorting the peace and harmony among its compatriots and creating a parley like situation”, rather asked them to focus on “greater Naga solution”.
