Kaito mourns demise of retired BSF officer

Minister agriculture & co-operation G Kaito Aye has expressed deep shock over the demise of Tokhuvi Tuccu, retired second-in-command (2IC), 111 Bn BSF Satakha, in Dimapur on May 25, 2022.
In a condolence message, minister described late Tuccu as “a remarkable gentleman and a tall leader”, who dedicated his life to serving the Naga people.
In his demise, Kaito said the Nagas and the Sumi community in particular have lost “a great mind and a brilliant guide”, adding that the void created would be impossible to fill.
Kaito said late Tuccu was a father figure, his “political guru”, the backbone of his career and “a man who stood by him through thick and thin. “I am very grateful to him for what I am today. His life well lived will be celebrated and the memories he has left behind will be forever cherished,” the minister said and conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that God will grant them solace at this hour of grief and pain.
