Awareness on women’s health and cancer

Dr K&T Keditsu Foundation in collaboration with the Phom Baptist Church Women’s cell conducted women’s health and cancer awareness programme at Phom Baptist Church, Kohima on May 28.
At the programme, resource persons from Dr K&T Keditsu Foundation, Dr Thejavinuo Keditsu (MD Obstetrics & Gynaecology) spoke about common women health related issues and encouraged health seeking behaviour.
Dr Keduovinuo Keditsu (MS MCh Surgical oncology) discussed about women related cancers, warning signs of cancer and their prevention. The talk was followed by an interactive session.
A total of 165 women attended the programme, which was coordinated and chaired by associate pastor for Women, Chenlen Phom.
It may be noted that Dr K&T Keditsu Foundation, a non profit organisation registered under the Indian Trust Act 1881, through its initiative, the Women’s Health Oncology & Lifestyle Endeavour (WH.O.LE) Project, seeks to educate women across Nagaland on general knowledge about women’s health, hygiene, impact of lifestyle on health, cancer prevention and awareness.
