Along with the rest of the nation, beneficiaries of government schemes in the state also attended Prime Minister’s Narendra Modi nationwide interaction with the beneficiaries on May 31.
Dimapur: Dimapur district took part in the Prime Minister’s nationwide interaction with beneficiaries of various Public Welfare schemes programme held at IMC Hall, Dimapur. The event was presided by DC Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, and was attended by beneficiaries of various schemes, heads of offices and administrative officers. The district level event was linked with the national event where the Prime Minister interacted from Shimla with beneficiaries across the country.
Zunheboto: More than 400 people and 260 beneficiaries from 13 various centrally sponsored schemes participated in the programme in Zunheboto.
According to DIPR report, DC Zunheboto, Rahul Bhanudas Mali in his welcome address welcomed all the beneficiaries, civil societies and HODs of various departments. He said that the programme was held for the first time in the country.
Live telecast of the state Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio interaction with beneficiaries at the capital Kohima was also screened during the programme. Later, the live address of Prime Minister at Garib Kalyan Sammelan at Shimla was also screened.
Wokha: Wokha district too jointed in observing the programme at Tiyi Hall, Wokha.
Advisor for Law & Justice and chairman DPDB Wokha, Dr. Chumben Murry also attend the programme.
Dr. Chumben while addressing during the programme, lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his great visions for the Nation and said that the achievements of his visions were evident from the success of the schemes and policies which are being successfully implemented.
One of the beneficiaries, who shared his experience during the programme said, because of the many/ various schemes/policies and programmes introduced especially in the rural areas, people were getting maximum benefits. Earlier the opening remark was delivered by SDO (C) Wokha Chonpenthung Ezung and concluding remark by SDO (C) Wokha, Selemla S Sangtam.
Mokokchung: The event in Mokokchung was held at Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Mokokchung.
During the programme, the beneficiaries had the privilege to interact through video conferencing with Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio regarding benefits under various schemes. The programme was also attended by DC Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, Superintendent of Police Mokokchung, Aotula Imchen along with other officials.
Tuensang: Tuensang District led by the District Administration had a video conference on the event Garib Kalyan Sammetan at DC Conference Hall.
After briefing the beneficiaries, DC Tuensang, Kumar Ramnikant thanked the government officials and beneficiaries for their participation.
The conference was attended by Heads of Offices of Tuensang and beneficiaries of government schemes of different departments in the district.
Peren: Garib Kalyan Sammelan, an interaction of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi with beneficiaries of public welfare schemes was live telecasted at Town Hall, Peren, and about 350 beneficiaries witnessed the live event.
The event was presided by DC Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, and was also attended by officials from district administration, HoDs of line departments, and public leaders.
Kiphire: Kiphire district participated in the video conference at DC’s Conference Hall Kiphire.
During the interaction, Kevi Sangtam- a beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban (PMAY-U) implemented by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs (MoHUA), and K. Wongsushi- a beneficiary of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and priority households (PHH), by the Department of Food & Civil Supplies interacted with the state Chief Minister. During the interaction, the two beneficiaries spoke of the benefits of their respective schemes and expressed their gratitude to the government for providing such schemes to the people of the state.
Noklak: District level programme of Prime Minister’s nationwide interaction with beneficiaries of Government schemes was held at White Hall, Noklak village. DC Noklak, Hiazu Meru in his opening remark thanked the beneficiaries of different schemes, government officials, civil organizations, and village leaders for joining the programme. The DC highlighted the importance of different government schemes and urged the departments to sincerely implement the schemes for the benefit of the public.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by EAC Noklak, Kathyinla while the vote of thanks was delivered by SDO (Civil) Noklak, C. Phuniang. Around 300 participants attended the programme.
Chumoukedima: On the occasion, Chumoukedima district, headed by DC, Abhinav Shivam took part and made all the necessary arrangements for the programme at CTC Hall, Chumoukedima.
Phek: Prime Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries of various Public Welfare Schemes with District Level functionaries was held at DC’s conference hall, Phek where Chotisuh Sazo MLA and Kezhienyi Khalo MLA and DC Phek, Razouvolie Dozo spoke on the occasion.
An interaction was also held where the attendees interacted with government officials.
Niuland: Niuland district also joined Prime Minister’s interaction with beneficiaries of various Public Welfare Schemes at DC’s conference hall, Niuland which was graced by minister of PHED Jacob Zhimomi.
