Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) youth department on Friday said that the Clean Election Movement was for all, and called upon the public to “vote for our future and give hope to our children” as they celebrate the story of grace and God’s faithfulness for the last 150 years of Christianity in Nagaland.
In a press release, Nagaland Baptist Church Council youth secretary N. Suhuto Chishi stated the youth department organised a bike rally on May 31 and June 1 with 143 bikers covering eight districts in just two days, “proclaiming the faithfulness of God in Nagaland”.
Chishi said the objective of the rally was also to challenge the people of Nagaland for a fair and clean election in the coming general election and to encouraged every Naga to participate in bringing positive changes as Nagaland attains 150 years of Christianity.
“The rally may have concluded but the call and message will stay on”, the youth department stated.
Further, it expressed gratitude to organisations and churches for services rendered towards the recently concluded bike rally.
The department also thanked riders representing associations and churches, church associations, state police, media, medical team, prayer leaders and various stakeholders for their services during the rally.
