Dimapur district admin bids farewell to outgoing DC

Dimapur district administration organised a farewell programme in honour of outgoing deputy commissioner (DC) Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan and outgoing administrative officers—ADC H. Atokhe Aye, SDO (C) N. Zubenthung Ngullie and EAC Avonuo Kire on Saturday, in the conference hall of the DC office.
According to a DPRO Dimapur report, while delivering his farewell speech, Rajesh Soundararajan acknowledged officers and staff for making his stay comfortable during his tenure. He said during his tenure, he came across various opportunities, challenges, situations and individuals.
This, he said, was “personally and professionally encouraging” and a good exposure for him. Dimapur being the gateway of the state, commercial hub and the most happening place, Soundararajan said it was a good place to gain exposure and experience for administration.
He added that such experiences could be put to good use in any assignment in the future.
With the support and coordination of his officers, he said the district had come far in addressing various issues and encouraged the officers to continue with the teamwork.
Further, he expressed confidence that the district’s new DC, Sachin Jaiswal would help Dimapur attain new heights.
In his speech, Sachin Jaiswal stated that administration was all about teamwork and requested the officers and staff to follow the same path of coordination.
He assured to give his best for the interest of the public and face the challenges together.
At the programme, outgoing officers—H Atokhe Aye, N. Zubenthung Ngullie and Avonuo Kire also said the achievements were made possible because of every official’s valuable services.
The farewell programme was chaired by EAC Dimapur, Khiuzan Kaurina, speeches on behalf of the staff, dobashis, officers and district officers were delivered by UDA Repachiba, head GB Temsu Ao, revenue officer Thejavizo Nakhro and commissioner of police Dimapur Rothihu Tetseo.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by SDO (C) Dimapur, Hotolu Sema.
