Deputy commissioner (DC) Mon Thavaseelan K on Monday inaugurated three newly constructed prefabricated hospital units, sponsored by the American India Foundation (AIF) and implemented by Modulus Housing through the initiative of district administration Mon at CHC Aboi.
In his speech, the DC highlighted various initiatives and achievements in strengthening the health care system under Mon district.
He also acknowledged all the civil societies, churches and organisations for extending their support in implementing the programmes successfully.
Short speeches were also delivered by DPO Mon-UIP/RCH, Dr. Shasinle and KU Aboi Unit president on behalf of civil societies.
The programme was chaired by SMO in charge of CHC Aboi, Dr. Neiphrezo Soriinuo, dedicatory prayer was offered by Aboi Town Fellowship pastor C.H Mongnyei, welcome address by Chumlamo Humtsoe ADC and HCMC Chairman and special song by Aboi Town Baptist Church Youth department.
Later, vote of thanks was proposed by GDMO, CHC Aboi, Dr. Hangsha Konyak.Free masks were also distributed to all the wards and villages, funded by ACT grants.
