Condolence messages on demise of late Kiyanilie Peseyie

Various political parties, civil society organisations and individuals have mourned the demise of former NLA Speaker, ex-minister and current MLA of 8-Western Angami A/C, Kiyanilie Peseyie, who passed away on September 27 after a brief illness. 
WAGOK: Western Angami Gazetted Officers Krotho (WAGOK) in a condolence message has expressed sorrow at the sudden demise of staunch politician and leader late Kiyanilie Peseyie. WAGOK said, “We lost a great leader in our Naga political arena in general and our area in particular” and added that the vacuum created by his absence would be difficult to fill up. WAGOK has prayed that the Almighty God would bless the bereaved family members and that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
NDPP: Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) in a condolence message has expressed deep grief and pain at the passing away of late Kiyanilie Peseyie. NDPP stated that in his death, the Nagas have lost a good soul and a great statesman, leaving behind a void that would be hard to fill. NDPP said late Kiyanilie’s contributions to the society would be remembered. NDPP has further conveyed condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that Almighty grant peace to the departed soul.
CPO: Chakhesang Public Organization (CPO) in a condolence message has described late Kiyanilie Peseyie as a tall and dynamic leader and said that his demise was a great loss. CPO also prayed to Almighty to grant solace and comfort to the bereaved family members.
NPF life membership cell: NPF Life Membership Cell in a condolence message described late Kiyanilie as a regionalist to the core and a lifetime member of the NPF party. The cell stated that late Kiyanilie remained steadfast through all the turbulent political upheavals in the state and that he was leader in the real sense of the term. NPF LMC stated that late Kiyanilie possessed uncommon integrity, humility, moral rectitude and exhibited them in all his dealings. The cell described him as a man of few words and that he set examples by his actions alone and that he never flaunted his importance and had genuine love and concern for the common man. NPF LMC said late Kiyanilie’s legacy would live on for posterity. It has further prayed to God to give solace to his bereaved family and that the departed soul rest in peace.
GBs Union Dimapur: GBs Union Dimapur Sadar has expressed sadness at the demise of late Kiyanielie Peseyie and added that his demise was a great loss to Nagaland and particularly Dimapur. It said the vacuum created by his absence would be hard to replace. GBs union Dimapur said late Kiyanilie’s good will and generosity towards social cause and welfare shall always be remembered and cherished. The union has conveyed deepest condolence and prayed that the Almighty God would give strength to the bereaved family members and that the departed soul would rest in eternal peace.
