Governor extends greetings

Nagaland Governor, PB Acharya has extended greetings to people of the state on the occasion of Durga Puja and Dussehra. In his message, Acharya expressed hope that the festivals would further strengthen the spirit of virtue to fight against all evils. Stating that Durga Puja and Dussehra signified the triumph of righteousness over evil, Acharya said these festivals embodied the power of ethical and moral values and value systems that were “deeply embedded in our cultural heritage and traditions.” He said it was the foundation for peace, prosperity and amity in the society. “May Durga Puja and Dussehra this year inspire all to follow the path of virtue and usher in peace and happiness for all.” the governor wished.
