Awareness on mental health

District Mental Health Programme (DMHP) and National Tobacco Control Programme (NTCP) of District Hospital Phek (DHP) conducted awareness programme at Police Personnel Camp under the theme “The Great Invitation”, from June 7 to 12, at Khuza Town Baptist Church.
The event was organized by Police Baptist Church, 5th NAP Bn, Phek.
A press release by district media officer, DHP, stated that Psychologist, NTCP, Neiwe-u Losou, spoke on “Understanding Alcohol Use Disorders” and “Ill effects of Tobacco on health and environment”, while SMO, Dr. Ngopelo Keviechu, spoke on “Overview of Substance Abuse” and “Alcoholic Liver Disease-Cirrhosis of Liver”, and Psychiatric Social worker (PSW), Kelhouletuo Keyho, spoke about Handling Stress in work Place. Altogether, 55 participants from different companies and 5th NAP Battalion Unit Headquarter attended the programme.
